Melissa Mahler is a highly sought after strategist, lawyer and social impact entrepreneur. For over fifteen years she has advised C-Suite executives, boards of directors, investors and NGO’s in negotiating complex transactions, advancing policy objectives and managing strategic and diverse relationships. She has collaborated with management teams on emerging technologies, closed financings and commercialized technology with universities, governments and Fortune 100 companies.
As an award-winning journalist and accomplished attorney, Melissa is an architect at using her platform to create change and amplify social impact. In addition to being the CEO and executive editor of People Purpose Impact she is the founder of Pro Player Insiders and a pioneer in athlete lifestyle media.
Melissa believes that life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage and that together we can change the world. Among her current activities, Melissa is on the advisory board of the Brink Institute, is a delegate to the United Nations Summit on Media and Social Impact, is on the Board of Directors of the Stop Abuse Campaign and is the Senior Legal Advisor to the World Education Foundation.
Melissa has a BS in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a minor in Political Science from Maxwell School of Citizenship and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law.
Stephanie Matthews Creative Director
Stephanie Matthews is a highly respected photographer and creative director with over 10 years experience in the fashion, celebrity and lifestyle industries. Recently she extended her craft to include capturing and creating in the sports and philanthropic space.
As an impassioned photojournalist and humanitarian she has worked with orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo as a guest of tribal leader and Governor, Bishop Ntambo. In East Africa she worked with women artists in Tanzania as a guest of Dar es Salaam U.S. Consulate during the inaugural Artists of Tanzania co-sponsored by U.S State Department women's artist exchange program in conjunction with Lake Erie West.
Her past photo exhibits include: The Power of Human Spirit (2010), which featured images from DRC. The Red Thread Collection (2007) a series of fine art dance images that debuted at the famed Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, NYC in conjunction with The Everywoman Series: The Red Thread dance performance featuring The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation.
Other exhibits include The Children of Congo (2007) in the Democratic Republic of Congo and A Life Cycle in Movements (2006).
